Description
Focusing on early literacy skills, the Little Bears Club (LBC) is a course for very young children from 2.5 years and follows the "From Language to Literacy" concept developed by Total Literacy and the I Can Read® System.
These early literacy interactive lessons are designed for very young children to encourage and develop their oral communication skills through a wide variety of child-centered activities that stimulate the child’s perception of the world and develop language. Every lesson will include greetings, storytime, listening comprehension, students re-tell the story, picture description, vocabulary, phonology, conversation and oral presentation skills.
The student uses a Little Bears Club workbook. The Little Bears Club is offered as a 3 day a week (Wed-Fri) 2.5 hour class. It is also offered for 1 hour, once a week. Age range is from 2.5 years to approximately 4 years.
