Beginner's Guide to Espresso


 This 3-hour course teaches participants the skills and knowledge needed to extract and serve espresso coffee using commercial espresso machines and grinders. Participants will be taught will the best techniques to make a great espresso-based drinks for their friends, family, or even customers. The topics covered include:

•Familiarizing the espresso machine and grinder

•Correct dosing and tamping technique

•Dialing in espressos

•Concepts of over- and under-extraction

•Milk frothing and milk drinks preparation

•The café menu 

  • Age requirement: 16 and above
  • Total students: 2-12 students
  • Number of lessons: 1 lesson(s) for each package
